We have a vision to link together all of the local, regional, national and transnational bike paths to create a global bike path network. Think of it as the internet of bicycles. To bridge the gaps in current networks and extend paths across existing borders, CycleSpace is combining open mapping data with wayfinding, and identity systems to create a united network that can be adopted locally and connected to crowdfunding and activation campaigns to make it a reality. We want you to be able to get on your local bike path and instantly be connected to the global bike path.

We want a cyclist enjoying a ride through Shanghai to feel connected to riders in Toronto, Capetown, Buenos Aires, and Helsinki, all riding on the same path. We’re only just starting this, during Vélo-city 2018 in Rio de Janeiro with our Bicycle Mayor Zé Lobo, so now is a huge opportunity to help CycleSpace launch and grow it.
