By saving its streets of water Venice doesnot have to have a Festa della Sensa, an Ascension, in the clouds. And besides, that will cost too much.

Up till now Venice has adapted itself to the water, by creating streets in it. However, Venice has to deal with two floods. high water, the Aqua Alta, and masstourism. Aqua Turistica Alta? Allthough it is not one flood, both are connected within the climate crisis. At the moment the Aqua Alta is not yet flood by the climate crisis.
This project will be fourfold.
An art-installation around a big ice cube and the internalisation of external costs for sustainability, the central point of the project, entitled Sad Eyce Salon.
Two connected filmscripts entitled Venite and Childrens’ Lanes, playing in the 18th and 21th centuries, about a boy- and girl-soprano, and the Venetian painer Giambattista Tiepolo.
An historical reflection on government. from the kings and emperors that surrounded and ended the Venetian Republic, this Republic itself, to its embedding in modern Italy, Europe and the globalisation, entilted Interimperissima.
An artistic saving of Venice, if the water really gets too high, by ascending it into the clouds, like air castles, like the Feast of Ascension, La Festa della Sensa, with projective geometry and perspective, and art, mainly painting and singing, entitled Projective Perspectives.
These products, with internalisation of external costs, will be for sale.
The project will take place first of all in 2018 and 2019, as a ‘professionalising creative org’, entitled StePPe (M)E / ZR037, respectively for history and for art. Up till now I work on my own, with the help of a teacher in art and in singing. And some readers. But co-workers will probably come during the project.
