SECCO. Portable dry toilet unit

SECCO is a project that starts with the design of a sanitary seat designed for users who reject the current solutions of dry toilets, and provide a comfortable experience. The toilet separates the urine from the faeces, has a dispenser of covering material (which can be soil of the place), a system of invisibilization and storage of feces. It also has a complementary solution of multipurpose light architecture that can be used as an installation for toilets or as composting or drying spaces for a safe processing of human waste, which can be converted into fertilizer or bio-soil for the floors. In the process, water is protected that will not be used in traditional sanitation, which will improve the health and quality of life of communities that can consume water contaminated by traditional basic sanitation systems. This system can be used like a temporary solutions and can be converted in permanent for rural or urban spaces.
