Climate change affects us all. We all have opinions. Ideas. Initiatives. Some have the power to spark a revolution. Yet we keep running in circles. As we keep on doing what we have always done, we get what we have always got.

Apella taps into the global community with a societal platform to gain a worldwide view of the public and to apply pressure for change. We bring challenges into the limelight, with in-depth information, unbiased, bite sized. We let the world review current solutions, vote on them, give constructive feedback and bring new approaches. Voting results and solutions are presented real-time as the debate unfolds. Creating a win-win situation. Industries and governments have access to precious data: they discover which directions are preferred by their audience and formulate new methods on how to get there. At the same time, public opinion is overwhelmingly clear and very hard to ignore.

Issues are as diverse as their solutions. It’s easy to say ‘yay’ or ‘nay’ to artic drilling; but how do we assess the impact of poor manufacturing processes in developing countries? We challenge people to review all standpoints, forming a balanced, constructive opinion from both a micro and macro level perspective. Apella favours the best answer not the populist one.

Apella’s goal is to align and unite opinion, not widen and divide as current social media platforms seem to. A global voice for issues that matter, applying people pressure to create critical mass for change.
